FAQ for Exhibitors

  • How can I register?
  • If you own a professional business mentioned in the Nomenclature of the Paris Cycle Show, please fill out and send us the n°1 and n°3 documents of the registration pack (only if you are a distributor or importer for Show). If you don’t have the pack, you can also download it on our site www.lesalonducycle.com or call to order one on 0033 (0)1 56 88 22 40 or by email at info@amcpromotion.com
  • What do the different prices include per m² (€120, €180 or €210 excluding taxes, depending on the category)?
  • The price of €120 excluding taxes (basic stand) only includes the exhibition area, a tubular sign with a base, free Wi-Fi access and a standard beige carpet (on request and by returning the special form included in the exhibitor’s guide). The set-up of the stand isn’t included and is at your own cost.

    All the other possible complementary exhibition items (ready-to-use stands, partitions, furniture, electricity, Internet etc.) need to be ordered separately.

    The price of €180 excluding taxes (pre-equipped stand) includes the following set-up:
    - Needlefelt carpet + protective film (in a choice of 3 colours)
    - Partition in while melamine panels (height 2.52m)
    - Aluminium structure
    - 1 m² lockable storeroom
    - 1 track with 3 spotlights (75 W) per 9 m²
    - 1 signboard with the company name
    - One 3 kw electrical supply
    - Daily cleaning (including the day before exhibition opening)
    - Free Wi-Fi access

    The price of €210 excluding taxes (equipped stand) includes the following set-up:
    - Needlefelt carpet + protective film (in a choice of 4 colours)
    - Partition in while melamine panels (height 2.52m)
    - Aluminium structure- 1 m² lockable storeroom
    - 1 workspace alcove – arch with white velum translucent partition
    - 1 signboard with company logo positioned at a height of 3.5m
    - 1 signboard at each aisle with company name
    - 3 shelves (same colour as carpet)
    - 1 spotlight (75 W) per 3 m²
    - One 3 kw electrical supply
    - Choice of furniture
    - Daily cleaning (including the day before exhibition opening)
    - Free Wi-Fi access

  • Is the 50% down payment compulsory?
  • Yes, the down payment is compulsory. It guarantees the reservation of your stand. It should be paid by cheque or bank transfer (please refer to form n°1 for our bank details). After the 4th April 2011, all registrations must be accompanied by the full payment for the stand.
  • Do I have to exhibit on every day of the Show?
  • Yes, it is obligatory for all the exhibitors to exhibit during the total duration of the Paris Cycle Show, from Friday 16th September 9.00am to Monday 19th September 7.00pm.
  • Can I register after the closing date of 7th February 2011 indicated in the registration pack?
  • Yes, it might still be possible, providing that there are still places available. However, the later you register, the less choice you will have in picking a stand.
  • When will I be able to pick my stand?
  • If your company is duly registered (with down payment) before 7th February 2011, you will receive an invitation during March to come to our offices and choose your stand, during the official allocation period scheduled in April. Allocations can be made via e-mail or fax if you cannot be present. For later registrations, stand allocations will commence in May and can be made via e-mail or fax.

    In any case, the date on which we receive your registration forms is an important factor. Try to register as soon as possible once you have decided that you would like to participate in the Paris Cycle Show.

  • If I cancel my registration, will I get my down payment back?
  • Yes, depending on the circumstances. To find out about our cancellation policy, please refer to Article 6 in the general terms and conditions of the Paris Cycle Show. If you haven’t got the printed version of the registration pack, the general terms and conditions are available to download on the website www.lesalonducycle.com along with the registration forms.
  • Will there be a late night opening?
  • Yes, on Friday 16th September the Cycle Show will close at 10.00pm.
  • Can I sell products at my stand?
  • You can certainly take orders at your stand; however no direct sales can be made at the Paris Cycle Show.
  • Can I distribute samples at the Show?
  • Yes, but only at your stand. The distribution of samples is not permitted anywhere else, including in the aisles and outside the Paris Cycle Show.
  • How can I get increased publicity at the Show?
  • You can reserve advertising space in the official catalogue of the Cycle Show and/or on our website www.lesalonducycle.com. The advertising agency used is to be announced soon. In the meantime, please send us any request for more information at info@amcpromotion.com
  • Will my stand be insured?
  • Yes, as insurance is obligatory, your stand will be automatically insured once you have registered, with a comprehensive exhibition policy up to €300 per m² excluding taxes. The insurance covers all of the items on show, the set-up of the stand, the furniture and office equipment. If the insurance amount is deemed insufficient, exhibitors can subscribe to a complementary insurance via the order form included in the Exhibitor’s Guide.
  • When must my stand be ready?
  • Your stand must be ready on Friday 16 September 8.00am at the latest, ready for the first opening day of the Paris Cycle Show.
  • What are the timeframes for setting up and dismantling the stands?
  • All technical information, including the timings for setting up and dismantling the stands, will be available in the Exhibitors’ Guide.
  • Will the general public have access to the Paris Cycle Show during the Press and Professionals day on Friday 16 September?
  • No, from the opening of the Show, 9.00am until 2.00pm, the Show will only be open to press and professionals. After this, the doors of the Paris Cycle Show will be opened to the general public, until 10.00pm.
  • Will the general public have access to the Paris Cycle Show during the Cycling Professionals day on Monday 19 September?
  • Yes, the general public will be able to visit the Paris Cycle Show during the Cycling Professionals day.
  • How can companies make information available to the press about the products that they will be exhibiting at the Show?
  • When you register, you will receive an exhibitors’ questionnaire asking you for a description of any new products that will be exhibited at the Show. You can also get in contact with our press department.
